Remember Iranian Women is a project of The Centre for the Supporters of Human Rights, an organisation co-founded by Nobel laureate Dr Shirin Ebadi. Remember Iranian Women's dataset include women who have been imprisoned or killed for political reasons since the 1906 constitutional revolution in Iran. Women played a key part in this revolution, but their contribution is often overlooked.
Users would be able to choose a series of filters to construct their own stories from within the data. Which cities in Iran imprison/kill the most women for their political activities? Which judges issue the most sentences? Which occupations are the most targeted?
